The think is i have had be nasua, and my boobs have been really sore, i have missed my period, by about 10 or so days i was suppose to start on the 1 to the 5th and its the 14th right now and i took that test, ;and the first line was really light, but still visualibe, and the second one was really dark, could the test be invaulde, or could i be pregant or not. Please help...

The second line is the control line and is supposed to be dark whether you are pregnant or not.
As for the other, faint line? You'll probably hear this from others, but it's generally very true... a line is a line is a line. Go to a doctor and get a blood test to be absolutely sure, but if it were me, I'd be jumping for joy right about now!

Yes you might be pregnant, speaking from personal experience I took the first response test also and I got the same exact results as you. One line was lighter then the other, if you read the instructions on the box it will tell you that if you do see a fainter line you are still pregnant. I recently had my baby boy on Nov. 2nd and this was how I found out that I was pregnant..
If you want you can go too the doctors office and get a blood test done because that is 100% accurate... Good Luck to you!!!!

Sounds like a positive result to me. A pregnancy test is designed to detect the pregnancy hormone (HCG) and it is much more common to get a false negative than a false positive. If any line shows at all, then it detected at least some small amount of the hormone. You can either retest, or go to your doctor to have a blood test to confirm.

I think you're pregnant. If you weren't, there would be no sign of a second line at all. With both my children the second line was pretty light, but it was there, and sure enough I was pregnant. But I would do a second test just to be sure.

If there are 2 lines that are any shade it is suppose to be treated as a positive...read the little book that came with it....take another one in the morning, if it's the same thing, go see a doctor!

You are more then likely pregnant. Same thing happen to me, I took several tests and they all had a very very faint second line. I went to the doctor he said that just means i wasnt very far along. Set up an appt with your doctor ASAP. I hope it all works out for ya!

if there is any color in the first line it should be treated as a positive. If you are still unsure wait about three days and take another test. Take it first thing in the morning. you will have more pregnancy hormone in your system then.

Even if the line was light it is positive, but i would suggest having a blood test and seeing an ob/gyn just to be sure.

No, you're pregnant. That's what I got with my current pregnancy and I'm in my seventh month right now. Two lines is pregnant no matter how light the line is. Congrats.
