Dang people are mean. I'm sure all you bashers lead perfect lives and never make a mistake. Don't listen to them Donna. You don't know them anyway. Paranoia can be paralyzing. This I know. It's a mind game Donna. You have to will yourself out of it. You have to logically see your way out of it. Look, you know in the back your mind these things aren't real. Even while they're happening. They seem real but listen to that voice in the back of your head that's telling you you're just being paranoid. Here's how you can tell it's not real. Nothing ever happens. It's as simple as that. The things you're imagining. The people outside your house. The guy just outside your bedroom door. Whatever it is. Why are they looking at me? When you wake up the next day, nothing happened. It never has and it never will. Just get used to the idea that nothing will happen and ignore the game your mind is playing on you. You have to accept the paranoia but know it's not real. Eventually it will get better. I hope you can pull out of it soon. This can literally last years or a lifetime. But you can also stop it in its tracks now. Listen up. You may not be having bouts of paranoia. It could be as simple as panic attacks. Many famous people have had those. Donny Osmond for one. Don't think the worst ok? It's ok to seek a doctors help. They are the only ones who can make a correct diagnosis. Maybe you've given yourself a slight chemical imbalance. No big deal. They have really good drugs to help you these days. It's not an embarassment to seek help Donna. Force yourself to ask for it if you need. That's what they're there for. To help us. Good luck you!

Unfortunately you may have permanently damaged your body! It's a mind altering drug, messing with serotonin levels which help you sleep. It changes the chemistry of your mind. It's called serotonin syndrome. You need to go get some help for this so it does not take you away, paranoia can be dangerous. Start with a hopeline....just so you know your options first. I feel bad you are one of the people that this effect has taken place. But make sure you research from now on drugs and thier affects long term...even what your Dr. may prescribe as they can alot of time do this to. Try to replace serotonin in your body with some natural remedies first for the sleep. For lack of sleep can cause some of the things you are currently dealing with as well. But I can not promise that's all....5-htp is .5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) is an amino acid that is the intermediate step between tryptophan and the important brain chemical serotonin....go to a local vitamin shop and try to get this. Some people may say that you are addicted. And the hope-line's can guide you through that.

Would it help to talk to someone, like a drugs helpline or something? I guess it depends on for how long you were taking it, and the withdrawal effects will vary from person to person. I'm sure it's unlikely that you're stuck with this forever. There are probably websites that can give you advice too so try doing a websearch for example on 'ecstasy withdrawal'. Well done for coming off it though I'm sure it can't be easy but keep it up! Good Luck

if E causes you to feel paranoid as a side effect, you will still feel paranoid for a while. First the drug needs to wear off. Even after the drug is completely out of your system, you need to retrain your mind (cognitive therapy) to rationalize and put into perspective what you are parnoid about. One reason I would recommend against any pharmaceutical drugs to counter the paranoia is that people tend to become dependent on them to not feel paranoid instead of getting rid of the irrational thinking through work (cognitive and behavioral therapy/treatment). It will go away but only though work.

It will go eventually but if it lingers too long go and get proffesional help. Its not uncommon to have suicidal thoughts during the early stages and if you do suffer these go and talk t your GP. I helped my daughter through a bad stage when she came off drugs and have seen alot of her friends suffer that last from days to months. Take it a day at a time and suddenly you'll look back and realise you've gone months without the drugs. Keep going though - you've done well already xx

I don't know about ectasy that much, but I do know people that were hooked on cocaine for many years. One of my friends abused coke for a very long time, he hasn't done it in years but has cocaine phsycosis. He still has the paranoia and "tweeks out" after so long of not doing it. Some drugs can chemically change your brain for good if you do them long enough.

hey, don’t worry too much about it will pass but you got to let it!
It’s best to keep away from the pills if they make you like that, or at least if you do end up doing it still, be careful to and get sleep and don’t do to much.
When u take E it releases Serotonin from the brain. Which can make you depressed and feel paranoid, anxious ect, maybe buy some 5HTP? This helps replace this, but doesn’t work miracles! If it doesn’t work go see your GP.
It will pass

trust me right we are living in it right now with the dems are fearing the end of the world.
how do you think we got our freedom by standing back.
in the public eyes iraq does not deserve freedom like ours. we need keep fighting the terrorist for the people OF THE WORLD from the terrorist who rule it. and we are not dictator we are freedom fighters who fight for FREEDOM, JUSTICE AND LIBERTY. unfortunitly people lost sight of it and voted wrong yesterday.
and morally we are now also headed in the wrong direction. people need to be responible for their action and not blame it on science or the society.
finally for the budget there goes the state and national level budget and economy and our taxes. people what things to be in place for a better country and community. but who do you think we pay for it in the long run. we do with our taxes, not with the so called federal and state money people think we have.
country is in a mess thanks to the ungrateful american public who forget how our free
