my cousin just gave birth a month ago and she didnt know about the pregnancy until the baby was due. She got her period for all 9 months and she only gained 12 pounds... she was very shocked when the doctors told her she was having a baby... is it really possible not to know you were pregnant????

she was very active and worked out 3 times a day... she flew to san diego and thats when she was sent to the hospital for "kidney stones." I asked her about the kicking and all she said was that she thought she hurt herself in cheerleading or at the gym...

so everyone keeps saying ,but I have been pregnant twice and I don't think there's any way on earth to not know you are pregnant those pregnancies were the most uncomfortable 18 months of my life but I guess everybody is different and there are lots of people selling this story so I guess it has to be possible for some.

I've heard of this happening, women just not really getting big and still having light spotting throught the pregnancy. I don't know though. During the last trimester especially you can feel every little movement the baby makes from kicking, turning, to even hicups. But maybe if someone was just really in denial they could pass it off as something. ??? I don't know.

Totally possible. I can't seem to believe it myself but I suppose if they're lucky enough to have a really easy pregnancy and maybe pass off other things related to the pregnancy as being, well, something else, anythings possible.
Possible and has obviously happened many times. I still just can't believe it though.

I don't really know about that. I can understand early in pregnancy but once the baby gets big enough to start kicking and moving I doubt you "WON"T KNOW" you're pregnant, but if thats what they say so be it.

I couldn't possibly imagine, especially in the 3rd trimester. The added weight is taking its toll on me physically. So no, for a person of average weight, I don't see how it would be possible. Unless you are in complete denial and usually the folks you see who say that are obese. My best friend was obese when she got PG with her first. I never could tell she was PG.

I've heard of it happening before. When women just don't know they are pregnant.
