The first website here provides you with some good general links. The second website that I have listed here links you to the actual statutes in the State of Nevada. I only skimmed through the statutes, but I did not see anything there that said that the landlord has "x" amount of days to repair things, etc. Double check your lease agreement, it may be stated in there. If not, double check with your local housing commission.

This site lists the laws that govern both the landlords and tenants rights and obligations in the state of Nevada. Hope it helps. http://www.leg.state.nv.us/NRS/NRS-118A.html

Different situations allow different time periods to be fixed e.g. gas leak must be fixed within 24 hours etc. You can go the site listed below - scroll down to "withholding deposit" to see more details. If you go to the second site listed, you will find examples of letters to Landlord to spur him into action.

Most places that get rented, u can fix it up yourself and get the landlord to knock off some of the rent.
The landlord owns your place so u could get kicked out if he wants.
Its best to get along with your landlord and negotiate whatever is wrong.
U have no rights really when it comes to renting, except to get along with the landlord or your place is someone elses space.
