does it really matter on the age, its just a number if your compatiable who cares how much older you are or younger you are to the other person. Me I personnally was always after the older guys, now I am with someone very special and he is 10 yrs younger then me, but its only a number right.

When I was ur age I had divorced my second husband. So I decided I was gonna play the field. I had never looked better in my whole life. I dated a variety. But I had this huge crush on a guy I met through friends...we all got together a couple of times a week and played games. He was 5 years younger than I was and he was dating like 18 19 year old girls and I didn't think he was interested in me....but after a few months of getting to know him I asked him ..of all things...on a Sunday..during a football game if he might like to ride with me while I ran some errands....we have been together ever since..and we married 6 months later..that was seven years ago. And he is wonderful and very handsome.

There's no "should" rules in dating - do what works for you! I always dated older men - when I was 21 I dated guys who were 10-20 years older then me. Now I'm 28 and married - and my husband is 8 years older - I never got along with guys my age or younger. I related better to the older ones.

I have dated both men younger and older and all I can tell you is it depends on the man. If you feel something then go on a second date. As the old saying goes you need to kiss alot frogs to find a prince. No matter the age as long as it is legal.

Depends.. at 32 I dont think it matters that much if the guy is a few years older or younger.. most of them are pretty mature by 28 but 45 may be too mature.. (old).. ahah. Remember you're still young.. have some fun!

From experience, a little older is better. Don't do what I did: my husband is 11 years younger than I am, and I'm continually having to explain stuff to him from the 60s and 70s...and we have not much in common now that we've been married a while: we tolerate each other's stuff, but we can't listen to music together, we don't watch many movies, etc. It's better if you get someone closer to your own age.

I honestly think it has to do with the man. I'm 23 and am divorcing a man that is 10 years older than me. I have dated a man that is a year younger than me and he seemed more mature than my ex-husband! I have also dated a man that is 13 years older and he was also very mature. I think it has to do with the man.

This is up to you. Do you prefer younger men? I prefer men at least my age or older. Im 26. If I found myself divourced, Id prefer a man 27-34. But of course if a real winner came along and he happened to be 22, I wouldnt snub him. Id give it a shot.

i haven't dated older except 1st husband (does 10 months count?) but I married 2nd husband that is 7 years younger and I love him to death but he is just now reaching an adult maturity level. he is now 36 we have been together 11 years. But he was a lot of fun at 25. So i guess it is about what you want. If you want someone to marry they should be at least 35.

Both are good, but the saying is that men are 3 years behind in maturity than women, so ideally you would want to date somone 3 years older than you.
