Rules are the basis of every society. Without rules, societies would be full of madness and mayhem. Rules teach people the difference between right and wrong, and show them that if they decided to disregard what is right then they will be punished. Rules are put in place for protection and normally everyone's well being. Rules are also useful in making sure that everyone is treated fairly and given the same opportunies. Examples of this would be in a contest...rules or guidelines are set in place for contestants. If a contestant doesnt follow the rules they are disqualified.
If people don't follow the rules then they are punished. It can be a severe punishment or it can just be that their conscious bugs them all day for breaking a rule. Breaking the rules also teaches other people to break the rules. When rules are broken it can break trust, harm others, and set wrong examples for other people, such as small children.
I hope this is useful and has given you some ideas on your essay.

hi i wont write it out but will help you! start with a definition of the term rules. Come up with a coupple of rules in your life maybe government, home rules. school rules.
next paragraph explain how these rules help you and the society ( class turn up on time) helps you (so you dont have an interuppted class)
Next parahraph What happens if they are broken ( Class is inturppted you dont learn) what are the consequences of this breaking.
Conclusion do they help or not? never include your own opinion.

hope this helps dont need to write alot just 3/4 sentances per rule

Rules are made mainly for protection. Example, don't play in the road. Reason you may get hit by a car. Be in by 11pm. You need your sleep and so do your parents. Don't let your dog bark all night, yours neighbor want to get some sleep. Take the trash out. We don't want the house to stink. Clean your room. I clean the rest of the house. There are many rules. They are made for protection. They are made to learn responsibilty. In every rule, there is a lesson. You just have to understand the rule to learn the lesson.
