this months past period was about 5 days early and light. I was thinking it was spotting and i could be pregnant, but i took 3 tests in the past month and they all came out negative. i also dont have tender boobs or morning sickness, some of the first signs of pregnancy. but for the past week, about 2 weeks after my periond ended, i have had quite a bit of severe cramping and bloating, and sometimes sharp pain in my abdomin. my breasts seam to be swollen but im also only 18. could the pain i am experiancing be ovarrian cysts, i dont know much about it. Im going to have my mother make a gyno appointment, but i want to make sure that i am not pregnant before i do (my mom would freak out if she knew i have had sex before).

It could be endometriosis. Endometriosis causes irregular and/or painful periods. Basically, the tissue that engorges with blood every month somehow is transferred to other parts of the body, which causes internal bleeding and severe pain. If this tissue grows in your fallopian tube, it could also put you at a risk for not conceiving and ectopic pregnancies. I say talk to your ob/gyn about it. Supposedly birth control helps with some women who have endometriosis, and with other the only thing that MAYBE helps is a full-blown historectomy (sp?). So, yeah, talk to your doctor, that's the only way you'll know.

Could be an ovarian cyst.....I had a few in life time...usually they do come with irregularly periods. Your sore boobs can be related to your period out of whack. Sore abdomen pain sounds familiar, cramping, that sort of thing. The pregnancy tests are usually right, so it looks like there is something else going on here.

Good that your going to get looked at....Ovarian cyst can grow to be quit large!! Don't worry till you get checked out....

Take care of yourself..and Good Luck!!
