Watch your local newspaper for specifics related to you but most churches and if your children are in school, schools usually have programs to help Toys for Tots is another program there are many sources, also sign up for your local freecycle and ask for gently used toys and clothing you in the sizes and age groups you need. I hope you find the help you need.

There is a section called "wanted" and "baby & kids" on Craigslist.org. You could put a free post on there that explains your situtation and ask for donations. I always look under "wanted" to see if there is anything I have that another person could use. There are always people out there willing to help if they can. Moms especially stick together so you could even call a local mom's group. They could get a box together for you.

I dont know exactly how you go about doing it, but where I'm from different places like high schools and some businesses do adopt a family where they gather gifts or food and money for the family and its given to them by community care.

You don't say where you live, but check local resources. Try your church, the Salvation Army (Christmas Angel Trees); the US Marines (Toys for Tots) and other such places. Many police or fire departments have programs to distribute toys. Good luck and God Bless.

Many local churchs have 'outreach' programs to assist needy people. Contact the church office/secretary.

Many schools also assist. Contact your schools guideance counselor. Many clubs in the school sponsor needy familys as a project.

something to consider, call department of children and families (ex: HRS) and tell them your situation and see if they can recommend any assistance programs. My mother did that one year about nine years ago and they hooked her up with a program that gave her two $500 vouchers ( one for each child ) for Target. We had a really nice christmas that year.

Good luck to you and yours.

p.s. let me know if you arent able to come up with anything and if not email me and I will see what I can do to help you personally

Try goodwill. There is also an online free site called freecycle. See if there is one in your area. People post items they want to give a way and people can also post items they want.
