I haven't done it for a long time, but one time I did and as I fell my jacket got snagged on a wood post on the way down and I very nearlly hung myself - TRUE STORY.
I was up there for about 15 muinutes shouting my head off until some neighbour or other came and helped me get unhooked

I know a guy who really did fall off his roof a couple of years ago and they didn't think he'd ever walk again, but he's going through therapy and doing quite well now.
Me, never.

I never have but my brother has, and he fell off one 2 yrs ago and still in the hospital for it as well.

Afraid of heights, can't get up a ladder to get on the roof, so... never have fallen from one. lol

Haven't had that thrill yet. We are, however, planning just such an adventure for this winter when we have to shovel the snow off.
