Yeah, why are you on BC already? I delivered 10/27, Dr. won't put me on BC until my 6wk check up. Yeah, I'd ask if you're worried about it. But you can bleed from 4-6wks after you deliver.

6-8 weeks is normal unless you are breastfeeding, at which point its usually less than time than that. If your already back on birth control, it may still take a month or two after you stop bleeding to have "normal" periods again. Not only does your body have to adjust to the change in hormones after birth, but your adding new stuff in by taking the birth control too, so it's going to throw things out of whack for a little while. Unless your doctor told you to start taking birth control, why don't you wait until 6 wks after birth to start? That's the normal time it should be before you attempt sex anyway for your body to heal. Then things may adjust better hormonally as well.

Oh yeah!!! You can bleed for a long time after having a child. Usually 6-8 weeks. You won't be a pain to your doctor though. They expect these questions. That's what they get paid the big bucks for.

Your body will bleed for 6-8 weeks after giving birth. This isn't a regualr period, it is your body cleaning out after giving birth. Give it time, your body will stop when it is ready. If you were nursing, you would stop bleeding a little sooner. Congrats on your new baby.

don't be too worried yet point out it on your well being care expert. i became in effortless terms on the pill for greater or less 6 months and that i had quite a few episodes of "recognizing" at unusual cases. It became additionally darkish and "end of the era" in nature - there's no longer plenty endometrial lining to be shed once you're on the pill so there heavily isn't plenty actual purple pass. I abandoned the pill because of the fact I only did no longer like the component consequences like those you're coping with. I went to the diaphragm and used it "religiously" and in effortless terms had little ones as quickly as we "planned" them. the beginning administration street is a troublesome one that needs interest and careful navigation. you're a grown up nonetheless and the creation of human beings is a severe company that merits your diligence. you will artwork it out. do no longer subject approximately your well being nonetheless. you're interestingly handling it rigorously.

That is completely normal. I bled for 6 weeks with all of my children and as soon as I stopped bleeding from that I got my period! I breastfed all of mine and it has nothing to do with that. Its a pain , but normal.

If you were breastfeeding, you would have stopped 3 weeks ago. I don't know about if your not breastfeeding, it's probably normal.
Just one more reason breastfeeding is the best for you and your baby.

Why are you already on birth control? And I would say that is not unusual.
Give your body a rest, ok?
