does anybody know where i can buy one. i think they would make a good pet . what do you think mate?

I love my chinese water dragon. He's about 2 feet long including his tail, he's brilliantly green and has a lot more attitude and personality than a Day Gecko. Lizards are great pets but you need to get more info on which one will work best for you. Never, never buy a pet cuz they look cute on tv or sounded fun in a story. Chances are they ain't that way in person! Talk with an expert and be honest about what you want from your lizard. Do you want to be able to handle him? Do you have the means to give him appropriate UVB and UVA? Can you keep him warm enough or cool enough with the proper humidy for species. These are more important issues than how the lizard looks in the commercial.

he is a madagascar day gecko not very cheap and is on the harder of reptile list to keep and have very delicate skin even a little bit of handling can tear there skin. they hide all the time require tons of humidity and usually dont drink out of a bowl will only drink droplets of water off the plants or side walls of the aquarium. they are cool lookin though so if you dont mind a little extra work to have a lizard you may only see once in a while they are good pet lizards

I'm sure you can get them from better pet shops.
My Nephew has lizards and gekkos and he thinks they're great pets but do require special conditions and handling so are a bit of work.

I love that little guy, but a gecko would really need a lot of special care as a pet you might want to reconsider that part.....

"geico" is the name of the company, it wouldn't make a good pet. You probably mean "gecko", the lizard. They don't really talk you know.

you can get a gecko at a pet store but not the gieco one. and i love it when the guy drops him to give people a thumbs up

it looks like a Standings Day Gecko you cant handle them very much or they will drop their tail they have little suction cup like feet that allow them to stick to the glass on the tank I had to catch one once that had escaped and boy can they bite! took a chunk out of my palm of my hand stung for a day! lol

yes it's cute. it is a gecko. you can buy them in pet stores.
