He was a anchorman for 39 years, he started in 1967. Ed Bradley died last week and he will be dearly missed.

he did more than just 60 minutes, he was the first black man to host the evening news (did the sunday news on CBS). and was a pioneer for african americans in the field of journalism.

plus, he was a class guy

One of my best memories was an interview he did with Oprah, where she asked him was his on-air persona a true one. He said that when he was on air, professionalism was number one. But that when he was off-air, he wasn't "Ed", he was "Teddy". She then asked him about the diamond earring, and he kind of smiled and said "That's Teddy". That's the memory I will always have of him.

yes it is very sad i remember him from vietnam days . I always liked his style of reporting. did not even know he was sick. he will be missed. good luck and god bless and happy thanksgiving.

yes, he will. when i lost my job after 18 years i felt it was the end of the world, i haven\'t recovered after 3 years yet
