That is a difficult thing to do. Every time you feel yourself go back to the past, stop, tell yourself to let it go and maybe that will help. If not, maybe talk to someone? I hope you can work it out. Don't be TOO hard on yourself. Peace!

I think everyone does this to some extent. If you are allowing yourself to be "consumed" with the past, you may need to seek some help .
I don't know what happened in your past, but most of us have things we wish we could change. The past is just that, "past", there's nothing you can do about it except learn from it and "move on".
If you can't do this on your own and it's beginning to seriously impact the "present" then it's time to get some help to deal with it. I wish you well, good luck.

Unless you suffer a total memory loss, you won't forget the past. Remembering isn't the matter here, it is whether you will stop hurting. For 13 long years I pined for my school days sweetheart,"talking" to her daily in my dairy without fail. Ours was a love forbidden becuase we were from different culture although we are citizens of the same country. My wife had successfully spirited away my treasure of her photographs. When my kid was about 5 , she asked me to draw for her. I drew a face from my memory - and my mrs. recognised the
sketched of a face permanently imprinted in my memory. When I eventually went to see her , mysteriously I felt I was being freed from so much pains. When I walked away, I imagine I was walking on a lonely beach at sunset with the songs " Silver Wings" - (Merle Haggard) and "Georgia on My Mind"- Conway Twitty. I have been feeling fine since...but of course the memory won't desert me. It could be the same with you.

Take some time everyday to count all the good things in your life. Think of everything from nice weather to the smile on your hubby's face. Also from being able to wake up and the new things you saw through out your day.

I would bet it has to do with your pregnancy hormones .Things will be fine if you let the past go .Have a ceremony for all the things that happened in your past that you can't change . If we could change them im sure we would .Concentrate on the baby you have coming and that will help !

I know exactly where you are.
Do you believe in God and that Jesus Christ died for our sins? If so, give your past over to Him and consider it done. We're all sinners, we've all made mistakes, some of them very serious, but you can get beyond your past by living in the present and working toward the future. If you need help doing that, consider getting professional counseling.
Good luck and God Bless.

counseling i dont know what you are tring to forget but you should look ahead not back alot of things are always going to be their you just have to learn how to live with it its not easy. You cant change what you have done or he has done you have to forgive but you willl never forget. Talk to someone friend you can really trust or a professional. I not sure what else to tell you dont beat yourself up over something you cant change.

Is it his past that is driving you nuts, or yours? If it is something simple, then you need to forget about it. If it is something that is interferring with your daily life, then I suggest counseling. What is the issue that is bugging you? Maybe we could be of more help to you. :)

Let go mentally and emotionally. Change the pattern on how your mind is working. If you really want it, you will achieve this.
Best of Luck
