Living fully in the moment with no conflict. No thought of elsewhere as a distraction, therefore no mind in the past or future.
Being totally NOW!
Not a definition the dictionary can do that better than me.
Just an offering you can try out and test for yourself.

A mountain top, because you work hard to get there and opportunities for the "perfect day" weather/view/vacation time are limited, especially with that sweet late summer breeze and warm granite, no man-made structure can come close. Next to that is waking lakeside in the mountains on a foggy morning listening to waves slapping on the shore and loons calling. Or just taking my dog for a long walk.

Sitting round the dinner table with my family and slurping a nice '95 Rioja.
Oh and some nice cheese, biccies and a game of triv.
And some chocies for the kids as they don't like Rioja or cheese
There, I 've finished

Happiness is more than just getting something you really wanted or winning the lottery.... True Happiness can also be something so simple and yet we tend to overlook it. You look in the mirror and you see it, it's just up to you on how to impart it with others... that is, how you live your life everyday... :)

Happiness is being contented and accepting of whatever the present circumstances happen to be. ANYTHING can make you happy, just as long as your attitude allows for it to make you happy.

Being able to laugh when you land in a pile of soggy horse manure after you got booted 4 feet across the pasture 'cause you didn't break anything. It was a soft landing, after all.

Happiness comes from within. When I feel stressed and pressured, I can look around me and give thanks for the wonderful life I've been blessed to have. It is really easy to realize I am happy. :-)
