there's a guy that works in west cumbria as a child entertainer and he said something to my girl that made her very upset a few months ago.

Now I've heard that he got sacked a few years ago from a job at a local swimming pool for something sexuel ?

The police wont be bothered now after so long but Im very very worried about things. What should I do ?

Make an official complaint to the Police - they are obligated to act on it - even in Workington. I can't email you as I don't have your email address. Are you sure it was the baths he was sacked from and not the Sports Centre? And does his surname begin with M? If so I think I know who you mean and he is a perv.

I would first contact the swimming pool manager and ask what the problem was and why he was sacked,it could have been anything including sexual harassment, and then you need to get as much detail gently from your girl and then ask to speak with your local community police protection unit and tell them everything you know.
They will,I can assure you, look into this matter in more detail and decide what course of action needs to be taken however, you need to do this as a matter of urgency because there are more offenders that are not on the register then there are on it.and at least you can help reduce the threat to other children which should be your priority.
On the other hand I would not just jump to any conclusions and take the law into your own hands otherwise you will ruin the chance of the police taking any action if necessary.
All the best of luck.

I agree with the Villar Queen. Tell the Police - say you didnt say anything at the time, but now you have heard he was sacked from the swimming pool a few years ago and you just want to tell what he said to your girl.

If you don't do your best to bring it to the attention of the authorities then you will feel worse than you would do if something happens and you said nothing.

Presumably he said something in an inappropriate sexual way to your girl? He does need to be reported.

There is no point in asking the police for info on this guy. As far as i am aware, they are not legally obliged to tell you. It is a sad fact of life that paedophiles/perverts/sickos whatever you want to call them (i can think of more things but they are rude), walk among us, and we are not even aware of it.
Just do your best to ensure your child is nowhere near this sicko and educate her on it as much as you feel comfortable. Remember, if he has already upset your child he has gone too far already, she needs your protection while society is protecting sicko's like him. Oh, and unless you can prove he did or said something sexually inappropriate they will not listen, which means your daughter would have to tell the police what he said to her...

You should tell the police - his job means he has access to children and young people. He may be on the Sex Offenders Register and there is no time limit on that.

I would speak to the police anyway - there is no time limit on whether or not the police are interested in sex offenders, he may even be on the Sex Offenders Register.

If he is up to his old tricks the Police need to know.

In PUBLIC?! expensive Primus, what's this international coming to while the rattling straights think of they are able to flee with dirt like this? Knew we would desire to continuously never have given them equivalent rights. Permagrin: Kudos on the Ghostbusters quote!

What you need to do is set him up, take your little sister out from Preschool and take her right there, Let her "play" around for a while im sure she will have a great time! after she gets home talk to her about it, and if something happened, you just ruined your sisters life! notthing to really worry about, it sjust life anyways

Go and knock him out, if he upset a child of mine I would. But hey that's my opinion.
