That's NOT fair!! She gets to put one up alreadY?!
I am bound by a legal contract (okay...not legal..but I gave him my word!) with my husband that Christmas stuff CAN NOT go up before Thanksgiving...but the day AFTER I can!! Just like I can't decorate for Halloween until Oct 1st!
But he laughs cause December 26th...you can NOT tell that we even celebrate Christmas..cause EVERYTHING is put away!!!
IT'S NEVER TOO EARLY...we know a lady who leaves her tree up all year...she's elderly ...and we believe a bit lazy!! LOL

I would LOVE to put ours up, but I'm restraining myself this year. Last year, we lost my Grandma just before Halloween, and she was a HUGE part of Christmas for me growing up, so I wasn't into Christmas last year. It was mostly going through the motions for the kids.
This year, I'm in a much better place, and I can't believe how excited I am for Christmas. We are sticking with our own tradition, though, and waiting until Thanksgiving weekend. We always put it up on the Saturday after thanksgiving.
I don't think it's too early. It' a fun and exciting time of year for a lot of people, and putting the tree up makes it seem that much more magical and special.

It's not to early if she really wants the tree up...it depends on the family....my roomate won't let me put up the tree until thanksgiving night.....but if I could I would, it is always fun to get into the holiday spirit.....

We have ours up for just over 2 weeks now. So I'd say no. Get in the spirit of things. Before you know it you'll be eating Christmas Cake and having New Years parties.

I always put mine up the eve of Christmas eve. Before December...that's just unrelated to the holiday.

i usually wait until after thanksgiving, but my sister is already putting up decorations.
this time of year most people need a little cheer.

YES!!!!!!!!!!
For the love of God it's November, people. I'm still raking leaves and trimming my raspberry bushes. There's nothing Christmasy about November.
Take down your Halloween decorations if you want something to do. Your pumpkin is melting on your porch.
