We are all important and should believe that we are as important as the next person, just because you have less money then another person does not make you less important it may make you less influencial!

Social status makes people important....and your role in the U.S...like becoming president. I would think someone is important because of how they treat me....but everyone doesn't think like me.

Perception.Plain and simple. you only " important" if someone perceives you as imprtant.What reasons they choose to do so may be completely random.
