I have bought a memory chip which is not working now,on the box of the chip written 5 yrs warranty but the seller is not ready to repair the same,he said "as it is imported item we do not give warranty".What do I do?Do I approach to the consumer court?Do I succeed?Please help.....Thanks

Contact the manufacturer, the store does not have to deal with warranty issues. Usually you will have to pay shipping on it to get it there but they should fix or replace it

U shoud not go to the seller instead U directly call the Manufacturer and ask him to replace then its good if the manufacturer says that they cant then if the mistake is covered by the waranty then go for the CONSUMER COURT

What I would do is, find an employee who works for the shop or the dealer....and learn the actual way to contact the company or atleast bribe him to get the things done............

yes, off-course you have to approach the customer court.definitely you will succeed.
