The adapter outlet is loose and cannot recharge. I just wanted to know if there was any possible way to get the files from that computer? If anyone has any ideas, I'd like to know.

If, you knew someone with a similar Laptop, maybe you could use their Battery long enough to transfer the files. An External Hard Drive would work great or maybe a Jump-Drive. If, it can access the Inet you could email the files or upload to your Briefcase. That could take time, depending on how many and large the files are.
The computer can be fixed easily. Normally what happens is when we sit them in our lap we put pressure on the A/C plug and it causes the Plug to break loose from its solder, it just needs re-soldered, but, the hard part in getting inside to do this and a repair shop's labor not help. I fixed my Thinkpad with this problem. Support had a PDF Download with instructions and pictures to take it apart, just put the PDF file on a separate computer so you can reference it.
