Do you know of any rap artists that have more than 2 albums?

Anyway, it takes work and perseverance. Send tapes to all the labels big and small, play out a lot, even if you have to do it for free. Write to artists who have made it and ask them if they can give you some info. This is called "paying the dues".

I don't think that any artist woke up one day and was suddenly famous...the industry doesn't work that way.

Okay,, If I were you, I'd see where "American Idols" playing next, and fly to that town. And see if you can get to talk to the band, and hey if you can sing or not, if you get there early enough you'll get a chance to get on stage, to face the three "Panelists" Paula, Simon, and Chuck, .. there's atleast a chance, for you there. In fact the show will be starting in Jan-07. Thats when they all go around the states, and pick, so many people in each state, they select. So, maybe, thats going to be your chance, right there. I'd find out where there coming & going to ....where there tour begins & ends. And just go from there. I know his name's not Chuck, its early and I like him better than Simon, but for the life of me, I cant think of his name right now. Randy!!! I've got it!! Its Randy!! Yes, go see them, and who knows, next time we hear from you, it might just be on American Idol!!! Good-Luck, to you..And dont give up on your dream, girl, no matter what these people say on here!! Smile!!

thrilling music have been given me addicted to music. If my mothers and dads had some Peter Brotzmann, Charles Wuorinen, Captain Beefheart, Kaikhosru Sorabji, Devo, or something like that mendacity around i might have become addicted to music at a plenty youthful age. (consistent with threat)

If you have any talent you will be found and can do a search to find the right people to connect with. If you have no talent, as I suspect, then go back to the day job and move on.
