What is going on? I usually go to bed at 10pm but don't fall asleep until about 11/1130. it takes me a while to fall asleep. I wake up at 7am monday through friday cuz i have to work at 8am. However I am always really tired in the morning until 11pm when my body wakes up. I actually take a 5 minutes nap every 15 minutes at work...
Is there something wrong? is there something i can take or drink to make me feel awake?

You very possibly may have a thyroid problem. This is easily tested with a blood work up. Have you noticed that you've put on some unexplained weight? Has your skin been drier than normal? Have you noticed that you get mad easier? All are symptoms of a slow thyroid, along with being very tired.

To help sleep at night, try taking melatonin. ITs a natural medicine that help make you slightly drowsy.
You must be a night person and not morning. LOL
Only other thing I can think of is, maybe your low on iron (anemic) . But only the doctor can tell you that. I was low and I was extremely tired all the time.
Make sure you take vitamin supplements. That will help some.

You need to do three things: take iron pills (women usually need more iron and when they don't get it they become irregular or lethargic)....If you're spending 1.5 hours trying to fall asleep get a yoga dvd and start doing relaxing yoga before bed, the breathing exercises will help the most...and three, Valerium Root....it is a organic pill(s) you can take before bed time which will give you more restful sleep. Oh, and make sure you drink plenty of water throughout the day. good luck!

Do you suffer from low iron? Just asking because I know I get like that around that time of the month and not having a proper diet all of the time contributes too. Good luck getting rest!

You woke up in the middle of your sleep cycle. If you wake up at the end of your sleep cycle then you will feel awake. you have several sleep cycles during your sleep. I think it may be called rms or rmes or something, not sure though.

well, it's possible that your thyroids could be off a bit, or that you may need a little more time to sleep. I would also go check your iron, as well as your blood sugar levels. It could be many things, you may need to go visit the doctor and see what he recomands

Quit napping at work. You will not only sleep better, you could be fired. If your job is that boring, or non challenging find another.
