I say Google as well for one main reason. Google shows a Page Rank on the toolbar. This Page Rank ties in with site optimization. Because Google holds better than half the market for searching on the Internet, plus provides AOL with searches, you will be seeing the most relevant ranking for a page available today.
If you need a second reason, the search box in the Google toolbar anticipates your queries. I know this has been out for a while, but it helps avoid typos and better find content.

i would say Google but yahoo is more powerful for online community buttons so if u blog u will save a lot of time if u like Google and yahoo and you got a big monitor I would say get both
