they are allowed to be gay but not to be in relationship or have sex with another man or female minsters who are sisters would not be allowed to marry or have sex. futhermore they should not disclose their sexual orienation and keep it on down low

It answers the problem of how do you become NOT GAY.
if your gay but want to be a christian, then you have to not PRACTICE homosexuality.
theres a difference between liking your own
gender and practicing homosexual sex.

One is a sin, the other is not...

So, it's "don't ask, don't tell"? That kind of sounds like how it always has been. I don't think it's natural to do these things, and I also do not buy the connection between spirituality and celibacy. Why does not having sex make you closer to God?

I think this policy was written for straight Catholics so they might feel that they are "welcoming"; it certainly was not written for glbt Catholics.
