45 mex/man 1/3 of the month he's in love, 1/3 he's not talking or arguing, picking selective nonsense excuses for arguments, or 1/3 he's going to save his $ and live by himself. is this midlife crisis or should i be concerned that there is another issue

He sounds moody and unreasonable when in these moods. When he gets in these moods, shrug and tell him if he's that unhappy then get his *** out, no one here is forcing him to stay.

I am guessing mid life crisis. How long have you two been together? If it has been for a couple of years, I think you have nothing to worry about. If it has been 1 year or less you should worry that it could be something more.

It sounds like his interest in you is a place to live and money to do it on. You are safe if he doesn't find another meal ticket.
