OK, I was babysitting at my friend's house and we had salad with our dinner....with Catalina dressing, of course. Well unbeknownst to me, the kids spilled quite a bit of it on the floor (of course), but since I didn't know about it, the stain sat overnight. This is on an offwhite Berber carpet. What would be the best thing I can use to get the stain out? Help please! Thx. :)

Get a spray bottle of Mean Green-Super Strength.Spray it on & soak it good, then use a dry clean towel to swab it up. If you have a machine as a shop vac (wet or dry surfaces) or any carpet cleaning machine then U can extract by vacuuming the accident out & will be as it was never done.
As of yet I've found nothing it will not remove. It has no bleach so is safe on carpet. Can be bought at grocery stores & dollar stores for $2-$3.00 per bottle.

Try woolite high traffic spray. it can be used on any carpet and it works great. Just spray the area to be treated then get a damp cloth and gently rub until it comes out. I had berber carpet before it was so hard to clean, but this stuff works awesome.

Try OOPS! You will find it in your paint department of your local Wal-Mart or K-Mart or hardware store. It comes in a white rectangular can, and it takes out all kinds of stains, including gum and dried old paint. It won't take the color out of your carpet, either. Use it in a well ventilated area. I actually used it to get a grease stain out of a dry clean only dress and it worked like a charm.

now we all know that if you elave somethign there too long it;s gonna stain . maybe what you can do is little by little, leave some water on it and soak it up . it should be better. but i dont think it'll completely remove it.
