You still have alot of life left in you to have fun. You don't need to be having sex with some one to do that. It is commendable you are waiting. Now of days people think less and less about waiting for the right person. But really it is best to wait. You will regret it if you rush and be with the wrong person. It does take alot of courage, be strong, and fight for your happiness. No matter what people think out there. Virginity is a precious gift from God, and we all should support young ones like your selves who are doing the right thing. You are cherishing the gift you have, and are going to give it, I hope to only your spouse some day.

I'm 40 and still a virgin. I'm still waiting on the right one, because I want my first time to be extra special. It sounds as if you want the same thing, and I applaud you for that. Too many people (male and female) only seem to care about their physical needs. I care about my emotional ones as well.
Keep it up!

So what?

One girl who I loved very much was a virgin when I dated her and she was 29! She is Chinese.

I know Americans like having sex early, I was an American but unfortunately I was an outcast. A total geek.

Don't worry about your age and lack of sex experience. It should be when you are ready. Otherwise you will regret it. Imagine finding the PERFECT guy and then WISHING - Oh I wish he could have taken my virginity. But you wasted it on another guy.

So, many women wish they waited. I am not saying you have to wait, but at least MAKE sure you REALLY love him and HE REALLY loves you! Even when you think you are ready for sex, wait another date! See if he pushes you for sex. If so, then he only wants sex. He needs to respect you.

Good luck!

Even though many in society would scoff at this, I applaud your decision. Who cares what anybody else thinks? You do what is correct for you and frankly, it is none of their business.

For what its worth, I was a virgin (I'm male) until I was 20 when I lost that virginity to the woman I later married. Next May we will celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. That was the right decision for me.

That is no big deal. I had the chance to let a minger take my virginity. I decided not too. The women who took my virginity was Totally stunning I kid you not. I am pleased I waited. (Call me shallow if you want I don't care).

There is no such thing as the right one so have some fun with the wrong ones because how can you pick your favourite ice cream if you have not tried all the flavours.
