I have just had a discussion with a good friend of mine (male) who thinks men do not need to wear perfume.
Personally I love a guy to smell good.

I think this is one of the first thing that attracts you to a guy!
I love a good smelling aftershave, shows he's took a bit of time getting ready etc not just sh1t, shave, shower and out!
Guys smell great!

Your male friend is unusual....men are more tuned into smell than women so smell is more important (genetically) however, he is right that scent may not be the right thing...smell is different to scent.....in addition, as others have noted, smell is connected to memory so smelling good can make an event stick...but be warned...if all goes wrong a smell can remind us of the bad......like for me cant wear Versace Dreamer, John Rocha by John Rocha or Opium for men cos of bad memories....and I just hate the whole CK range out of principle that I refuse to smell like a chav! LOL

lmao, I think if anyone doesn't need to wear it it's women. I only wear perfume because I like the smell of it and guys seem to too. But men should wear it because most men i know have b.o., lol. It's definitly a necessity, plus a nice cologne is always great, especially when a certain someone needs a "hug". lol

It is said that the chemistry smell of men's urine and body sweat is a turn on for women.
But perfume is nice, but not to the point that it's over baring, that's when we get headaches, some people are sensitive to strong smells.

Personally, I like when a guy wears cologne. Polo Blue or Eternity. It smells better than deodorant.

I like a man to smell nice, although not like a tarts handbag. My ex used to always wear a certain one, and now when i smell it, it reminds me of the good times we had...awww

i like a man 2 smell nice but it really dont bother me if he doesnt wear aftershave or spray!

but it has to be a good one, not cheap.i love when my bf puts his on.
he uses armani and when i see him and smell his perfume he seems even more masculine to me.and when he leaves i can still smell it on my pillow. aahhhh
