Like it or not given the time this doctrine is the best possible protection for America's future. Yes the cost is a great one and most unfortunate, yet necessary. The lack of patience and coupled with Americans sense of immediate gratification will have us choke on our own freedom. Fact is we will have to return to the region someday if we leave only to fight the Sunni led Iraqi government backed by the Sunni led Iranian government. They will be toting and handing off nukes next time though. Thank you in advance for killing our soldiers and mass American civilian casualties because people like you have no foresight. Someday our children's grandchildren WILL BE DEAD BECAUSE OF THE DECISIONS MADE IN THIS ERA BY PEOPLE LIKE YOU WITH NO SENSE OF THE BIG PICTURE.
