Arunachal Pradesh is ours, not China's: Pranab
November 14, 2006 10:40 IST
Hands off is my view.
India on Tuesday rejected China's claim that Arunachal Pradesh was Chinese territory.
"Arunachal is an integral part of India," External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee told reporters in New Delhi, a day after Chinese Ambassador Sun Yuxi claimed that the east Indian state was "Chinese territory".
The Chinese Ambassador had told CNN-IBN, "In our position, the whole of Arunachal Pradesh is Chinese territory and Tawang is only one place in it. We are claiming whole of that (Arunachal Pradesh). That is our position."
India and China are currently engaged in talks to resolve the boundary question. Last year, they signed the 'Political Parameters and Guiding Principles' to resolve the border issue.

Time and again, we have proved
that we are a soft state.
Gandhiji had told us to be non-
violent.
The Government run by old foxes
also believe in this.
We must give Arunachal Pradesh
to China, to maintain peace and
safety for our leaders.
We have given a part of Kashmere
to Pakistan and want to regularise
it by accepting LOC as border.
Tibet, an old part of India, has been
given to China without any fight.
China has occupied a portion of
about 68000 sq kms of Indian
territory, we accepted it.
We had agreed giving of Indias'
land for formation of Pakistan
and bangladesh.
So why create a fuss about Chinese
remarks.
Give it to them, we are the world
leaders of Peace and Non Violence,
as per our Father of the Nations'
teachings.
The leaders are so apprehensive
of attack by others', they want to
make Nuclear Bunkers below the
Parliament house for their
own safety. The work is already on.
We should not oppose Chinas'
Claim and give them away to remain
the best in the World.

you say as a indian,,,what if you were a tibetan...both india and china have abused there good will with the tibetans ,,tibetans dont look either indian or chinese yes.india should push for dali lama to go back to tibet, and india apologise for giving away tibet s land to china.but i,m thinking you would rather have a border war like in 1956..were indians ran into the river when china sneezed at you.....appologys for my pessamistic reply, but this is a real mess made by china ,with indias blessing in 1951,when china jumped tibet in a wild west style land grab
