Yes Romo is the new QB for the Cowboys and has played well.

With Bledsoe the trade deadline has passed so he wont be able to get traded to the off season if at all. Teams in the NFL value draft picks so much that i would be shocked if he was traded. Most likely he will be released. I really cant see him going anywhere to be a starter at this point in his career. He seems like he would be a good backup but I dont think he wants that.

As a long time die hard Cowboys fan, I shouted Hallelujah when they replaced Bledsoe with Romo !! Bledsoe was good in his day, but he needs to realize with age does come wisdom, but slowness also comes along with it. He couldn't get out of his own footsteps those last few games he played. Drew needs to say adios to football to my opinion and retire or be released to a team and help "coach" and encourage the younger QB's like Kurt Warner does. But I really can't see Drew doing that. From what I hear he doesn't speak to Romo unless he has to. Bad sport.

Romo is the real deal for the Cowboys--he is there present and their future. My guess is that the Cowboys should shop for a solid back up because Bledsoe will not be content to be a back up past this year. He will either retire or go somewhere else where he'll end his career in obscurity. I would get someone to come in and be a good back up for the Cowboys.

I think Bledsoe will get traded to the Browns cause they suck and they need a better QB than Charlie Frye. I think Tony Romo is doing an awesome job.

Taking over the Cowboys? How about TOOK over the Cowboys!

He's been around for 14 years in the NFL...I don't know what team is going to want a QB like him. I think most teams would invest in a young fresh out of college guy. Consider a team who is looking for his experience to rub off on to a "0-5 years in the NFL" type of QB. Kind of like what they did in Dallas with Tony Romo!

I hope he does take over, so the NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS can get 3 interceptions off him AGAIN.

Drew Bledsoe always sucked anyway, so theyll probably release him into the sunset, in typical Dallas Cowboy "Its been real, now take a hike" fashion (see Emmitt Smith for details)

Romo is taking over and I think Bledsoe will just retire...if not, he might go to vikings or texans

Drew wants a starting job and none to be had. His reality check should catch up with the times and realize back up isn't that bad.
