No, not really. But I'd go to my local Doctor & they'll remove it for you under a local. They'll stick a needle in and deaden the area. Then it's just a quick nick & it's out like a splinter.
But you'll have to put up with a few jokes about it.
Best of luck mate.

Pellets are a techniques extra precise than bb's. reason being is that bb's are shot from a snug bore barrel, pellets are shot from a rifled barrel. A rifled barrel has "grooves" reduce into it, giving a twist to it, like a firearm barrel. What this does is it provides the pellet a spiral, like a football being thrown. A bb is shot from a snug bore. the reason of that is, a bb is metallic and it would ware down the rifling in a rifled barrel. some air guns can shoot bb's and pellets, yet after a lengthy time period the rifling is almost non existant. All air guns that would shoot both, are low-cost. maximum less than a one hundred and twenty.00.

which was it, a BB or a pellet? you mention both above...

If it is a copper BB, then you shouldn't have any problems because copper is not soluble in the body....
If it is a lead pellet, well they're still small enough that it shouldn't be a problem for an adult....

If you're worried about it, have your doctor look at it on your next checkup...

I would pull it out! It might leave a bruise or bleed, but it'll heal up! Take the pain like a man and/or share it with that kid. If y'know what I mean.

Other then that, it'd be best if you checked with your doctor.
