You can check ebay and just type in "childrens toys" and see what comes up. They usually bring up all kinds of toys to choose from that are generally not that expensive! Just watch out for shipping because thats where they tend to get ya.. By doing this you wont even have to leave the house!! Good luck and Get well soon :)

Contact local churches or even let the folks know at the kids schools. Often schools compile lists of family's who need help with Christmas and the children get put on Angel Tree lists with in churches and in the community. Hint broadly to friends and family that you could use a little help this year with gifts for the kids. You might even consider contacting your local newspaper with a little write up about the situation. Communities are great about pulling together during the holidays.

Catholic Charities. You do not have to be catholic, or even christian. This is a wonderful service organization that makes it a goal to make sure children have a christimas. Look on the web, or you phone book, or call the nearest catholic church. As long as you are truly in need, they will help.
Remember, the greatest gift you gave your kids this year, is your life. If they are old enough to understand that, please spend some time sharing with them your feelings about being their mom and how important they are to you. If nothing else, write it down and put it away for them when they are older.
The very best to you and your family.

Contact the local social service department. Many times they offer special Christmas programs for families in need. If you are planning to buy for the family, Talk with local stores. Ones that are locally owned are more likely to help you out during difficult times.
Also if you are a church member talk to the church family. They probably know what the family is going through and usuallly are more than willing to help.

Try your local church or ask some neighbors to help you out. Maybe someone will hear your story and strangers will help you out. Hope you recover well and have fun in the future.
