I can honestly say that you don't know what it feels like to be 100% sad until it happens. All the other times that I used the saying "I'm feeling sad" were a picnic compared to that day. A year and a bit on I still feel the effect of it but nothing has come close to how I felt.

Yes.
I remember feeling like my heart was crumbling inside my chest. Despair crawling threw my mind, as if there was the deepest shadow over everthing.
But dont hang onto the sadness. Use it to mourn whatever you've lost, so you can let go and move on.
I also remember my happiest moments. Like my spiret has been lifted and bathed in golden warmth. Look towards those moments.
Remember they will come again.

I seem to be sad a vast majority of my time and for various reasons. But instead of wallowing in despair, I put a smile on my face, look for the silver lining anyway, and get on with life. It's too short to be continuously sad.

When I realised my best friend was avoiding me. She just "iced" me for no apparent reason. She wouldn't even admit to others what the problem was, so there was no way I could apologize or try to make it right. That made me very sad.

I was very close to my dad.
I recieved news that he died - unexpected and remember coming down after the phone call rather dazed and staring at a rose plant through the patio window - It was november.
There was this single red rose on an almost naked plant.
This sight never left my mind.

What = sad - pathetic or sad - unhappy?
Sad - pathetic = got exited years ago about going to a 'Steps' concert... consider that to be quite sad now!! haha
Sad - unhappy = probably when I lost my dad just over a year ago
