Life is not a problem to be solved, it is a mystery to be lived--Osho.
Take your work not as a problem, then your worries might decrease. If it still doesn't work, analyse whether your depression is work related or family/personal problem related. If it is work related try to take a small break, it may do wonders. If it is a personal problem, try to solve it rather than thinking over it. If all the above do not work, try to consult a good psychiatrist.
Have you tried meditation?(Vipassana meditation has worked wonders for my stress)
Any how, gain control over your moods. This life is precious, don't waste it over trivia.
All the best! I look forward to you being a joyful being

If depression negatively affects your work, you need to see a doctor. They can prescribe you something like Zoloft or Paxil that will do wonders for your mood. If you live in Europe you won't even need a prescription for most anti-depressants.
I've also seen people use special UV lights at work that replicate some of the sun's rays to chase away the melancholy.
Sorry to sound like Tom Cruise, but if you can, vigorous exercise is also a great way to treat mild depression. Especially early in the morning before work.

The best remedy for depression is a long brisk walk.
Try it.
Have you seen a doctor.
If you are feeling sad, it is not a true depression, there are depression and there are some more, the best thing to determine it, is to have your blood tested, based on the test if there is a chemical or hormonal imbalance it can be eliminated, by a prescription.
Try and talk to a relative, friend or a professional.

If you're clinically depressed then seeing your doctor and taking the medication he prescribes will help you. Otherwise I'm afraid it's just a case of pulling your socks up and being sensible. When you're depressed of course you don't feel like working - but it will distract you from your depression if you throw yourself into it. In life we mostly just have to 'get on with it'. There is no easy solution :-( Sorry

Breath inhale and exhale as slow as you can, making circles inside you when you inhale, like if the ir goes inside you makes a circle and goes up to go out by your mouth, then think how much you need the money from your work, and what else you can do with this money and have a little fun. Than God or in wehaterver you believe for having a job and health to do it, there are millions of people in the world that are starving because they do not have a job. so enjoyed it.

Hi
It is true that we do get depressed at work, but remember your customers(both internal and external) you will feel how important are you to this world, your one minute depression can impact many people, rather than looking life critically look at the good things, start smiling at people, make your self busy, take more work help people, speak to more people read good books and listen to motivation speeches.
Hope this helps
thanks
