Jenivive is correct in her advice. What you are asking for is romote unlocking, Motorola’s can not be remotely unlocked. If you want your phone unlocked, your options are
1) Pay T-Mobile for the code
2) Take it to a shop and have it unlocked for a small fee (My Recommendation)
3) Download Motorola modding software and try to unlock it yourself. This would not be my choice, very tricky to do and you have a better chance of wasting your phone then you would unlocking it

I 100% agree with jrott's advice.
Unlock codes are different for every phone, it is dependant on your IMEI number, make/model of your phone and your network provider. Some phones cannot be unlocked by code, they need a cable and software to do it (and not the data cable you get with your phone).
If it is not unlockable by code then i'm afraid you will have to get it done by cable, phone shops/market stalls will do it and also phoning your network provider. All these charge a fee though.
Oh, and you only get 5 try's at keying in codes then you're phone is well and truely locked and will definately need certain cables and software to rectify it. So my advice to all is, don't just go trying to key in any old codes, each code is different for every handset. And don't do what someone mentioned about keeping the code for another phone, it won't work.

my phone was t-mobile and i unlocked it and could get any network on it, i got the code from ebay, it was £2.50 and you get a list of codes just choose the right one for your phone, it cheap , easy and if you do the but it now thing they send you the code through email so you could have it done in 10 mins from now. and if you save the email and buy a new phone you still got all the codes if you need to unlock again. good luck!

you prob wont be able to unlock it for free unless you have a friend in a high place that can give u the code. there are ppl that do it tho for a minimal fee. i had to search on blog sites and diff. places til i found a guy that i mailed mine too and he unlocked it for me. i have heard that there are shops u can take it to in europe (somewhere) that they will unlock it there in the shop for you (again, another minimal fee)
