Never thought of it till now....Who knows. My name was originally a boys name. I think if I named my son Courtney, he would have killed me.

Even tho they are both male and female, they are such feminine sounding names, they are used more often than for females.

I mean your little boy wants to try out for the football team and his peers find out his name is Alison...not a pretty picture now is it?

People have decided not to follow tradition when it comes to naming their
offspring. Celebrities call their children the name of inanimate objects. I
think we can let this "son" thing go.
