why you think or don't think that Historically Black Colleges and Universities are important to black students

I think it depends on the student. If the student is looking for people who share the same culture, then going to a college with other black Americans is perfect. However, that might not be the case if the student wants more racial diversity. For me, I would not want to be in a historically black college because it would limit me from meeting people from other ethnicities.
