Most of the time your mentor "finds you"... you never know, you might already have a mentor and not realize it... think of anyone who always gives good advice, has good ideas, and good personal values... you want a mentor to help you rise above what you though possible....

since "trusted" is the key word, you maybe shouldn't try to "find" a mentor, but rather see if there is already one in your life...

Find someone who is like yourself in many ways only much wiser from experience, so they know ahead of time what kind of stuff you are doing wrong and can guide you better. :) Can be hard for some people to find one.
