It's not poligamy if you are not married to any of them.
Poligamy is marrying multiple wifes. Not shacking up with them.
All I can say is strive on you lucky dog.

You're either married or not... Where does 'legally' married fit into this question...
If the marriage is not 'legal' due to some technicality (such as proper forms were not signed), it won't save you from the sheriff in a poligamy case... If you are truly not married but just living with multiple partners, then that is not poligamy...

NO, it can not be punished unless any one of them are underage or held agaist their will which will result in a different charge. If you marry one and have several girlfriends, it won't violate the laws, but on moral ground yes, but you cannot be punished by the system on moral grounds. Would the law punish a guy or a girl for having multiple partners? NO, because they are all consenting adults so no where the goverment or the law can interfere.

Just don't come to NC until they get around to changing the law. If you have sex whilst not legally married you can be jailed. They are about to change it following a recent court case.

I don't think it would be polygamy in your case, just roommates, so no, you won't be punished for having female roommates (beyond the obvious living with more than one female thing, which would be punishment enough).
