I think the most ridiculous ones are those that try to re-write history. An example, was airbrushing the cigarette from a Beatles album cover. The album was released over 40 years ago but recently they decided it was un-pc to show one of them with a cigarette in their hand.

I don't know if this is ridiculous but it annoyed me that they have changed the name of The Fat Controller in Thomas The Tank Engine to Mr Topham Hat.
That's not his name!

many, its ridiculous, such as gollywogs, how are they offensive?just cos they are black? is barbie gonna get banned cos she is white????
i agree with the woman about the fat controller as well, it aint tophan hat, its the bloomin fat controller.
and how is pakki offensive? if someone is from pakistan that means they are a pakki right? as i am from scotland i am a scot and i am not insulted by that!!

People wanting to change the names of sports teams named after American Indian tribes, because it makes the tribes look aggressive, violent and overly competitive. Would they also change the phrase, "The Fightin' Irish"?

calling black people African American even though they are not from Africa( not anymore, that is), if you call an Asian person oriental it's bad, however, you can call a. Caucasian person white, and it's ok
