If and when does the rest of the European media follow suit or do they maintain the illusion?

Yes, about a week ago the BBC publicly admitted it has an anti American slant. That's the problem people hear the same routine for so long they don't even realize it's a slanted view with many facts left out or subtly changed to portray a certain viewpoint.

OK fist was it anti-American or anti-bush because over half of the Americans said they were anti-bush by their vote last Tuesday. and with good reason the war is a failure, the debt is growing at an alarming rate,spending in Washington is out of control, the scandals are crawling out of the woodwork, and the arrogance of the republican party has just rubbed most of the American not to mention the rest of the world the wrong way.

The bias is hardly anti-american, rather it is anti-american foreign policy. I think that it representative of the majority opinion in the UK. BBC can hardly be called bias when there is so much American content through out its media outputs.

i do no longer think of so. The BBC actual delivers a o.k.-rounded information wrap from international extensive, in assessment to our information networks that generally concentration on the main unecessary headlines and the main unappropiate cases.
