Put message in the local paper. Contact schools with your details and as above said put it on school notice boards. Equally you could look for home schooling groups and societies and advertise there. My Brother found his private tutor through school because they had told his english teacher their details. You could get a website this will be easily accesible for a lot of people who want to check you out quickly without having to ring or drop in. Create cards and flyers with simple details so parents know what they are getting

Market your information - state exactly what you intend to teach - are you crb checked - make sure you are - people are weary more now and I wouldnt use someone who didnt have the appropriate checks (and up to date ones). - Check with your local authority if there is a list you can add your name to as well.
