Exim policy has been renamed as Foreign Trade Policy.
Several incentives/concessions are given for export and import under FTP.Besides export/import of specified goods is subject to conditions which are notified under Public Notice,Notifications and Policy by DGFT

Its that They are alowing more subsidy for Export Goods and tax was for the import goods I heard this not the actual thing.
