The Unions had this country by the b@lls for years, they got greedier and lazier and that is why we can't compete with the rest of the world now, That is why our industry has been obliterated, As a self employed Engineer I had the misfortune of working at Longbridge a few years ago and all I can say is that its a miracle they stayed in business as long as they did.. Remember all those strikes back in the seventies, printers, railways, car plants, coalmines it had an effect.

Reality NEVER! we as workers can't get together long enough to stand up to the corporations. And even if we could by staging some sort of work stoppage, how many of us could even afford to miss 1 paycheck? It's safe to say the average worker lives paycheck to paycheck, so the answer is none of us could afford to miss a paycheck. We must first learn to discipline ourselves IE..spending and controlling our own debt before we can begin to think about imposing any discipline on our employer's. Good luck finding your piece of pie the best you can do is bake your own by trying to become debt free and not be held hostage by large corporations. and that's not just your employer but large banking firms that continue to allow you to increase your debt.

When working people stop being afraid of being labeled "communist" the moment they stand up for their rights.
When they realize that none of the parties that compete for gouvernment have their interest at heart, but only that of big business and finance, and when they start voting for people who are prepared to fight for Their rights.
