Sorry! I dont beleive in the concept of a dream job. I dont think such a thing exsists!! its like trying to find a unicorn. However I do beleive its entirely possible to find a job or employment you both enjoy & that you feel is worthwhile. Employment that provides a sense of satisfaction on a personal level and oh! yes also pays you an income as well.

But honestly forget the very idea of a dream job that search is doomed to failure. In my opinion for what its worth, it would be better to start from who you are and what your best at, i.e. what are your talents, what skills do you have, what really deep down in your heart of hearts interests you, what do you have to offer, whats skills might you need for the kind of work (job) you might like to do.

Walk your talk, put your actions were your heart is, walk before you can run. Be utterly realistic about what you can achieve. Set your sights infront of you, move forwards step by step, dont set your sights above the clouds and expect to fly. Keep your feet on the ground as much as possible that way success is definately a realistic possibility.

Anything that doesn't cause me stress, plus pays well, of course. 12 weeks vacation time a year would be nice also. Hell, other than the stress part, I'm describing a school teacher, although I don't know how well that pays. I do know those people never have to work.

My dream job would be working for Yahoo Answers working out new algorithms and techniques for eliminating spam on the boards, such as the cashcrate spam, and coming up with policies and Terms of Service that would allow Yahoo to sue the spammers who continually violate those terms.

A fun, easy, extremely well-paid job, i.e. anything in television. Weatherman seems good, work out forecast, spend two minutes in front of camera, go home and count dosh.

One that pays well, has an expense account and a company car, health benefits, a pension scheme, paid holidays, that starts at 12pm and finishes at 1pm and has an hour for lunch!

If you hear of one - let me know.

I have to say something relating to arts (except architecture). Painting, illustration, cartoons and comics... a job where I could draw and paint a lot.
