I usually get something from e bay. I got my brother a ralph lauren top from there last year for £15. Still had tags on. He thought I had sent a fortune. Have somtimes bought used dtuff on there for presents. If its still good quality my family have still loved it and were even impressed that I found a bargain when I told them.
Got my eye on a gucci outfit for my sister in law at the mo that is a good price. Even cheaper on there for non designer stuff. I got my daughter some bunkbeds for her room, £15. Got our cooker almost new, £160.
Give it a try otherwise have a look around before buying stuff. Always non expensive gifts out there if you look hard enough.
Always remember its the thought that counts. People that get upset if you don't spend a lot on them are not worth it!!

Check out eBay UK for ideas ... U can usually get something nice for cheaper than the stores.
Short of that ... if U know the couples well ... maybe some fun sex toys. Like edible body oil (for a sensuous massage), or edible panties (for the ladies).
I live in NYC and there's Reastaurant.com where you can buy a certificate worth $25 for $10 (or less) to a nice restaurant. Maybe there is something like that in the UK

Enlarge a good photograph and buy a frame from the dollar store. Another idea is a gift card to Starbucks. My coworker got me a $5 gift card last holiday when we were both low on cash. I liked it.

If you are any good at cooking then bake some biscuits and present them in a pretty basket. There are loads of things you could make/buy. You just need to THINK!

mine is a lil goofy, yet I actual have a tendency to paintings with goofy people, so it rather works for me. i like to purchase toys as humorous lil presents -- reckoning on the team of people and the final vibe around the placement. i like to incorporate a goofy notice to comedian tale on the subject of the present in the previous that's opened like... a starwars easy sabre.... notice asserting for those days once you prefer the stress to be with you. a bop bag distinctly the bozo ones- often obtainable at walgreens or drugstore or toy keep... for stressful places of work - you won't be able to hit somebody in actual existence, yet each so often you are able to snigger off a project in case you are able to hit bozo. spygear toys... lazer tripwire or listening device or the entire undercover agent application belt - for those days once you will possibly particularly be 007. in simple terms seem around the toy keep or toy branch at walmart or drugstore and you're in all threat to locate something which you will make a humorous lil present out of and supply people a lil exciting at paintings.

I see you are a big believer in CHRISTMAS and that is great. A box of candy might be good.
