Why does Mariah points one of her fingers at the hole of her ears when she does whistle register and whats the song of hers which has the highest notes of all?

No one really knows, my guess is that it helps her control the whistle notes. And Mariah has a lot of songs that has high notes and that depends on what type of high note ur talking about.. You have the chest notes (its like belting) then you have the whistle register. If your talking about songs with a whistle register then here are so Ms of her highest:

These are some FANTASTIC songs. It has Maria's highest whistles tones (in my perspective). Btw these r just some songs that pop up in my head. In almost every song she includes a whistle tone ( which are high)... Its her signature style ;)

I dont completely understand the question but she and some other singers will place 1hand over their ear when they are hitting a high note so they can hear themselves. To make sure she's (they) are in the right key...
Sometimes while singers are in the studio recording songs they wont wear both headphones...they'll simply hold 1headphone to an ear....again so they can hear themsevles....

I do not know but one of her songs "We belong to gather" is good I think thats one of her highest voice not sure.
