According to the NHS, 80% of miscarriages happen in the first 8 weeks, although 12 weeks is the general time when the risk is said to fall to quite low, and before then the fetus is still developing. If something goes seriously wrong in the development process, this could result in a miscarriage. But as someone else said, there is always a risk.

Think positive, look after yourself and take time to relax. I know lots and lots of people who have had miscarriages then gone on to have successful pregnancies and healthy children

there's no thanks to understand. For one ingredient, it relies upon on why you miscarried very last month. If it replaced into only a fluke, you're likely going to be high-quality this time. If there is a few type of underlying reason that can make you've repeated miscarriages, it really is an difficulty you'll ought to debate w/your well-being care specialist. i have informed this tale persistently, yet i am going to tell it again so that you're going to with somewhat of luck have a touch peace of recommendations. I were given pregnant in March 1989 and miscarried the day after I realized i replaced into pregnant. My well-being care specialist gave me a Rx for b/c pills and informed me to watch for my next well-known era formerly starting up the pills, which must be in 4-6 wks. nicely, early may got here rolling round and nonetheless no era. i did not have any indications of being pregnant; i imagine I purely had that woman instinct, ya recognize? So I said as my well-being care specialist on may third and requested if I could've began my era by then, and they reported that replaced into iffy and to go back in for a blood preg. try purely to envision to make confident. Lo and behold, it replaced into valuable, and that i by no potential even HAD yet another era between my miscarriage and my next valuable being pregnant try. I presented an rather healthful, very tremendous 10lb 12oz toddler boy on December 20, 1989. So: short tale lengthy (sorry!), no, you received't *inevitably* have a miscarriage again, and do not you even pay interest to anybody who says you'll. they could't likely recognize that. Congratulations, and strong success from a fellow fulfillment tale!!!!!

Depends, my wife had a miscarriage (found out at the 12 week scan - no heart beat) but we found the cause (over active thyroid gland, almost certain you will miscarry if you have one) This is now sorted so she is "safe". You need to know what caused it, good luck

contrary to popular thought you are not at a greater risk as you have had a miscarriage, thought with all pregnancy your are at some risk until 12 weeks after 12 weeks the risk of non incidental miscarriage is rare. See your doctor for professional advice.

I've always been told that no pregnancy is really safe until you pass the12wk mark. Apparently it's not safe for anyone. But as long as everything was cleaned out your prior miscarriage will have no effect on your future pregnancies.

it depends you might be, you might not be the same for your unborn child/foetus it depends if there were complications /damage in the miscarriage you could both be fine or not just keep visiting the dr and seeing the midwife /health visitor and hope for the best - if they reccomend an abortion because your health is in jeapordy take thier advice, if they say you should both be ok then great - they can give you better advice than anyone on answers and do tests so they aren't just guessing
