Ok, the rest are not true, because I asked my college counselor.
For the SAT (not ACT or anything else) they take the highest section scores from DIFFERENT sittings. You are able to mix and match scores from different times to get your HIGHEST POSSIBLE score. In your case they will consider Math: 750 Reading: 730 and Writing: 700 for a total of 2180! they will recieve your other scores as well. CONGRATULATIONS btw. Awesome job!

Your overall best score which happens to be your first sitting. Even though you did better on the critical reading the second time, you performed slightly worse (but still rather well!!!) on your math and writing score in comparison to your first test. I wouldn't worry if I were you.

the higher score. even if you take it a third time and all the sections are below 500 the highest score will be the one considered. But they can still see your other scores.

In most cases you can choose to send whichever set of scores you want to an admissions officer. Both of your sets of scores are very good.

the best scores are looked at, so if you do worse on a certain section the second time, it isn't looked at.
