I'd like to see Peter Kay in charge. Very funny man - but seemingly moral and a thoroughly decent bloke!!

I think Britain has basically had it - too many bad leaders & bad policies. It would be tough to take over at this stage.
How do you start clearing up the mess at home let alone overseas?
You'd need someone who was strong enough to make the right decisions & who would act in the best interests of the country & not for personal gain.
The type of person needed would not be in politics unfortunately.
It doesn't answer your question because there is no answer. We'll have Cameron next time round & we can hope that he'll be this honest, sincere, no nonsense leader that we crave for - but what are the chances?

The Queen 'rules' Britain and that's fine by me.
As for who should be Prime Minister, how about Boris Johnson ? I've got a lot more respect for him than most of the rest at Westminster.

David Cameron should do the job.
Tony Blair is so worn out these days. There were too many scandals cheats in his government, so it's time for a fresh start.
To be successful it is important that the tories pull the UK out of Afghanistan and Iraq.

Someone who actually believes in the betterment of our country and the people in it. That will rule out most politicians as they get corrupted as soon as they walk through entrance hall of Parliament by the party whips

I would like the people to have a real say in the politics of the country, not the token ballots which never seem to change anything.

David Cameron because he is our only viable choice. Plus he seems to be a decent bloke unlike Blair.

. I would like to rule Britain....
and immediately dispel all the immigrants from the country to their native lands; It would be up to their children who were born in the UK whether to stay with their family or leave...
I would jail anyone who calls for "jihad" or any kind of hate speech against the West for Treason and seek to have them extradited.
Any PC fools who are terrorist/enemy sympathisers with the cause of radical Islam should be temporarily jailed for treason until they regain their sanity.
I would close all borders to the British Isles.
I would ban abortion after the 8th week gestation and create huge tax incentives and cuts for married couples with children.

Anyone but Blair
Because he thinks he rules the country as it is, and has made a godawful mess of it.
